How it works
Already Have Access?
If your event venue or planner has given you access to an EventReception account, they’ll also provide your login codes and simple instructions to seat your attendees and send your SMS messages.
Most of our partners include the SMS service for free or for a typically small extra fee — either way, you don’t pay us anything.
Need an Account?
If you don’t have access to an EventReception account, you can purchase a
single event package.
A single event package lets you insert/upload your event participant details and mobile phone numbers, and seat them. What we'll need from you is to email us your table plan to set up your event and send your Access Codes.
Your SMS messages will be sent automatically at your chosen time. You can update your guest list freely until then. After sending the SMSs, editing the guest list is disabled to avoid seating errors.
Please contact us preferably up to a week before your event, so we can create your account and you have plenty of time to upload and seat your guests.
Data Protection - GDPR Compliance
Guest phone numbers remain undisclosed at all times and are used exclusively for the SMS Seating Service message. Fifteen days after the event, guest phone numbers are deleted automatically.


The Message

Sender ID
Typically you can specify your own Sender ID.
It can be anything up to 11 Latin characters with no spaces or special characters.
In certain countries though, setting your own Sender ID may not be allowed.

Navigation Map
The Navigation Map Link shows guests how to get to the venue from where they are.
When clicked, a welcome page with your photo or company logo pops up before the route to the venue shows.
The link auto-detects, adjusts and prompts according to the user’s device, location-tracking settings and navigation app availability.
